Bubbling diffusers
Thanks to their particular granulometry, Zircal bubbling diffusers have a unique characteristic: they create a huge quantity of micro-bubbles that reach the surface very slowly. They form a large gas barrier against which small inclusions kept in the steel go crashing. In this way inclusions start an upwards movement ending trapped inside the powders on surface.
Bubbling diffusers action allows an increase in the residence time of the molten metal in tundish and makes the steel temperature homogeneous.
