Main charachteristic of our purging system with safety device is that it can be easily settled in every kind of ladle and closure device requiring no changes at all.
We realized a monolithic body, integral with the bottom part of the plug, in which a serpentine develops itself. In case of accidental passage of the molten metal, the serpentine facilitates its immediate freezing .

Thanks to the particular shape of the housing block, a further protection of shaped refractory finds place also under the bottom of the plug, directly in contact with the closure system.The purging plug with safety device can be supplied with or without extraction system and it requires no mechanical maintenance.
